Diese liegt der Düsseldorfer "Rheinischen Post" vor. Berücksichtigt wurden hierbei alle Großspenden an Parteien seit dem 1. Juli 2002. Seitdem müssen Spenden über 50.000 Euro beim Bundestagspräsidenten angezeigt werden.
Insgesamt sind in den vergangenen 17 Jahren rund 67 Millionen Euro an Großspenden an deutsche Parteien geflossen. Die meisten im Bundestagswahljahr 2005 mit insgesamt knapp neun Millionen Euro. 2012 waren es hingegen nur knapp eineinhalb Millionen Euro.
Es zeigt sich eine abnehmende Tendenz
Trotz großer Schwankungen zeigt sich eine abnehmende Tendenz. Vier der fünf höchsten Gesamtbeträge stammen aus den Jahren 2002 bis 2009. Einzige Ausnahme ist das Bundestagswahljahr 2017 mit Großspenden von mehr als sieben Millionen Euro. Für Verfassungsrechtler Hans Herbert von Arnim ist das keine Überraschung. "Man kann das ja auch daran sehen, dass verschiedene Unternehmen gar nicht mehr spenden", sagt er der "Rheinischen Post". Beispiele sind Daimler und Allianz, die ihre jahrelange Spendenpraxis revidiert haben.
Die meisten Großspenden gehen an die CDU
Die mit Abstand meisten Großspenden gehen an die CDU. Knapp 26 der 67 Millionen Euro erhielten die Christdemokraten. Es folgen FDP mit 11,4 und CSU mit 10,6 Millionen Euro. Weit mehr als zwei Drittel aller zwischen 2002 und 2019 deklarierten Großspenden entfallen auf diese drei Parteien. SPD (6,8 Millionen Euro) und Grüne (2,7 Millionen Euro) folgen mit deutlichem Abstand. Linke (175.000 Euro) und AfD (100.000 Euro) zeigten in diesem Zeitraum jeweils nur eine einzige Großspende an. Auf dem fünften Platz, noch vor den Grünen, rangiert mit der Marxistisch-Leninistischen Partei Deutschlands (MLPD) eine Kleinstpartei. The willingness to donate to political parties has declined in recent years. This is shown by an evaluation of the party donations that have to be published, which is available to the "Rheinische Post" in Düsseldorf. All major donations to political parties since 1 July 2002 have been taken into account. Since then, donations over 50,000 euros have to be reported to the President of the Bundestag.
In the past 17 years, a total of 67 million euros have been donated to German political parties. Most of them in the Bundestag election year 2005 with a total of almost nine million euros. In 2012, on the other hand, it was just under one and a half million euros.
There is a declining trend
Despite large fluctuations, the trend is downward. Four of the five highest total amounts originate from the years 2002 to 2009. The only exception is the Bundestag election year 2017 with large donations of more than seven million euros. This is no surprise for constitutional lawyer Hans Herbert von Arnim. "You can also see this from the fact that various companies no longer donate at all," he says to the "Rheinische Post". Examples include Daimler and Allianz, which have revised their long-standing donation practices.
Most large donations go to the CDU
By far the most large donations go to the CDU. The Christian Democrats received almost 26 of the 67 million euros. FDP followed with 11.4 and CSU with 10.6 million euros. Far more than two thirds of all major donations declared between 2002 and 2019 were made to these three parties. SPD (6.8 million euros) and Greens (2.7 million euros) follow at a clear distance. Leftists (175,000 euros) and AfD (100,000 euros) each indicated only one major donation during this period.
