"Die Industriepolitik kommt in der Agenda von Frau von der Leyen nicht vor. Sie tritt mit einem "Green-Deal" ihre Amtszeit an, um die Erderwärmung zu begrenzen. The President of the CDU Economic Council, Astrid Hamker, has accused her party colleague and future EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen of having "too much zeitgeist and too little economic reason" on the agenda for her forthcoming term in office. "We should not see everything through the climate glasses alone. Europe only has strength internationally if it is economically strong," Hamker said to the Düsseldorf-based Rheinische Post.
