Kultur und Geschichte
Vier Initiativen beschäftigen sich mit kulturellen und geschichtlichen Themen, wie etwa der dringliche Berichtsantrag mit dem Titel „Soziokulturelle Förderung“. Hier interessiert die „Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Kulturinitiativen und soziokulturellen Zentren in Hessen (LAKAS e.V.)“. Gefragt wird unter anderem nach den finanziellen Zuwendungen durch das Land Hessen, die regelmäßige Einsicht der Rechenschaftsberichte, der Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Verein und der Landesregierung, Ministerien und Landtag sowie den politischen Aktivitäten des Vereins. Es wird um eine konkretere Beschreibung der Vereinsziele und um eine Definition des Begriffs „Kultur“ gebeten. Eine der elf Fragen lautet: „Welche Erkenntnisse liegen der Landesregierung über eine Zusammenarbeit des LAKS e.V. und/oder seiner Mitglieder mit dem linksextremen Spektrum zugehöriger Organisationen vor?“
- Gefragt wird weiter nach der „finanziellen Unterstützung bzw. Bezuschussung des Künstlerhauses Mousonturm Frankfurt“, zu aktuell und zukünftig geförderten Projekten und der Höhe der finanziellen Unterstützung. Von Interesse sind für die AfD auch die Projekte, die gleichzeitig von Bund, Stadt und anderen Trägern gefördert werden.
- Zwei Anfragen erfolgen mit dem Titel „Betäubungsloses Schächten“. Einmal wird auf das Tierschutzgesetz § 4a Bezug genommen und nach den Ausnahmegenehmigungen gefragt; in der zweiten Anfrage geht es explizit um befristete Genehmigungen.

Kulturpolitik ist – in der Tradition des Kampfes um „kulturelle Hegemonie“ - ein zentrales Feld der Auseinandersetzung und der Angriffe der populistischen und extremen Rechten, die eine (völkisch-)nationale Kultur und Förderpolitik und keine kritisch-aufklärerische Kultur will. So werden denn auch engagierte Kulturinstitutionen und freie Kulturprojekte aus dem demokratischen und liberalen Spektrum sowie die Förderpolitik angefragt und geraten unter Rechtfertigungsdruck.
Linksextremistische Verstrickungen werden unterstellt
Unterstellt werden vermeintlich linksextremistische Verstrickungen und die Frage nach finanziellen Zuwendungen und Kontrolle suggeriert, dass hier aufgeklärt werden müsse (5).
Die knapp gehaltenen beiden Anfragen zum betäubungslosen Schächten thematisieren und problematisieren – in allgemein gehaltenen Informationsabfragen und mit Bezug auf das Tierschutzgesetz - ein religiös-kulturelles Ritual. Culture and history
Four initiatives deal with cultural and historical issues, such as the urgent report entitled "Socio-cultural promotion". Here the "Landesarbeitsgemeinschaft der Kulturinitiativen und soziokulturellen Zentren in Hessen (LAKAS e.V.)" is interested. Among other things, it asks about the financial contributions made by the State of Hesse, the regular review of the reports, the cooperation between the association and the state government, ministries and the state parliament as well as the political activities of the association. Thesis
Cultural policy is - in the tradition of the struggle for "cultural hegemony" - a central field of confrontation and attacks of the populist and extreme right, which wants a (folk) national culture and promotion policy and not a critical enlightenment culture. Thus, committed cultural institutions and free cultural projects from the democratic and liberal spectrum, as well as funding policies, are also being called into question and come under pressure to justify themselves.
