English version

Pop star Jan Delay (43) blames Dieter Bohlen for Werder Bremen's bad position in the table. "The musician said to the "Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung" (NOZ) that he is the most blatant unlucky fellow there is. The Bundesliga team lost only because they had allowed a group photo with the DSDS juror. For Delay a mistake after which "exactly what had to happen happened: we slipped to the relegation spots," said the musician, who had already dedicated a stadium ballad to the club.

"We had the best squad, we were super prepared. Then they take a photo with planks, and suddenly eight people are injured. Since then things have been going downhill. We haven't recovered from the planks and we're cracking at the end of the table." The musician also criticised himself and his father role: "Sometimes I am in a situation where I didn't really want to be," said Delay, whose child was born in 2014. "Then I have to tell my daughter: Daddy has to work, please go to Mommy. That's the way I found it with grandma and grandpa. Oldschool, the grey-brown 80s Germany with its role distribution. I grew up in a different way and already checked everything as a child. And then it's funny when you fall into this role yourself." Nevertheless, he gets involved in the education, for example by introducing his daughter to punk rock: "You can't play Ramones enough for children. Energies are released, and that's what children are all about. They should let off steam," Delay said. "When the drums come, they go crazy."

Joint shooting with Ernie and Bert

The musician also remembered a joint video shoot with the "Sesame Street" characters Ernie and Bert. "Of course there are two guys sitting there playing the dolls," said the 43-year-old. "But they're so good at it - you think you're really talking to Ernie and Bert. I've just seen the old material again, I'm definitely going to cut it out again - sitting there talking about drugs." According to Jan Delay, Ernie and Bert have a surprisingly wealth of experience in this field: "They've tried everything, and that's what they're telling us." pm, ots, mei
