Für dieses und das kommende Jahr sieht das Ressort von Verkehrsminister Andreas Scheuer (CSU) aber lediglich 1,501 und 1,552 Milliarden Euro vor. Zugleich steigen die Mittel für den Aus- und Neubau von Bundesfernstraßen im Jahr 2021 deutlich an: Dann sollen 2,721 Milliarden Euro beispielsweise in neue Autobahnen fließen. 2018 waren es noch 2,362 Milliarden, in 2019 rund 2,6 Milliarden.
Investitionsstau bei der Schiene
Für dieses Jahr plant Scheuer 2,5 Milliarden ein. Grünen-Fraktionsvize Oliver Krischer bemängelt die Verteilung der Summen. "Den Investitionsstau haben wir bei der Schiene und nicht der Straße. Der Mitteleinsatz müsste eigentlich genau anders sein", sagte er. Bei der Schieneninfrastruktur gebe es viele Engpässe, die jetzt beseitigt werden müssten, damit die Fahrgastzahlen in den nächsten zehn Jahren verdoppelt werden könnten.
