Das geht aus der neuesten Konjunkturumfrage des Ifo Instituts hervor. Demnach ist in der Januarumfrage, bei der nach dem Vormonat gefragt wurde, der Index von minus 11,4 auf minus 8,5 Saldenpunkte gestiegen.
Einen großen Sprung nach oben machte die Chemiebranche. Dort stieg der Saldo von minus 26,7 auf minus 0,7 Punkte. In der Autobranche nahm der Saldo leicht zu: von minus 15,9 auf minus 14,4, im Maschinenbau von minus 15,6 auf minus 11,4 Punkte, bei der Herstellung von Metallerzeugnissen von minus 21,6 auf minus 17,9, in der Metallerzeugung von minus 30,4 auf minus 25,8, bei der Herstellung von elektrischen Ausrüstungen von minus 13,6 auf minus 13,1.
Doch die Entwicklung war nicht einheitlich positiv. So sank der Index bei der Herstellung von elektronischen Geräten von minus 1,8 auf minus 3,6 Punkte und in der Herstellung von Gummi- und Kunststoffwaren sogar von minus 1,4 auf minus 10,2 Punkte. pm, ifo

German industry's order backlog shrank in December, albeit more slowly than in the previous month. This is the result of the latest economic survey by the Ifo Institute. According to the January survey, which asked about the previous month, the index rose from minus 11.4 to minus 8.5 balance points.
The chemical industry made a big leap up. The balance rose from minus 26.7 to minus 0.7 points.
