Meine ganz persönliche Meinung ist: Für Situationen wie im Fall Pléa sollte auch der Fußball nochmal über solche temporären Strafen nachdenken. Dass die Bundesliga-Schiedsrichter angehalten sind, Unsportlichkeit schärfer zu ahnden, begrüßt Geipel. "Allerdings kommt eine solche Regelung viele Jahre zu spät. Was auf den Plätzen passiert, insbesondere auch in der Bundesliga, wirft ein schlechtes Licht auf den Fußball und hat Auswirkungen bis in die untersten Klassen", sagte er.
