Für das RTL/ntv-Trendbarometer hat forsa nach der überraschenden Wahl von Thomas Kemmerich zum Ministerpräsidenten ermittelt, dass die CDU gegenüber der Landtagswahl im Oktober 2019 knapp zehn Prozentpunkte verlieren würde, wenn jetzt erneut gewählt würde.
Die Christdemokraten würden von 21,7 auf 12 Prozent abrutschen. Die FDP käme noch auf 4 Prozent und würde es nicht mehr in den Landtag schaffen. Die Linke könnte 6 Prozentpunkte zulegen, auch alle übrigen Parteien würden derzeit besser abschneiden als bei der Wahl vor vier Monaten: Grüne plus 1,8 Prozent, die sonstigen kleineren Parteien plus 1,5 Prozent, SPD plus 0,8 und AfD plus 0,6 Prozent. Rot-Rot-Grün käme zusammen auf 53 Prozent, so dass der abgewählte Ministerpräsident Bodo Ramelow sich auf eine regierungsfähige Mehrheit stützen könnte. Wenn der Thüringer Landtag jetzt neu gewählt würde, könnten die Parteien demnach mit folgendem Ergebnis rechnen: CDU/CSU 12 Prozent (Landtagswahl Oktober 2019: 21,7%), SPD 9 Prozent (8,2%), FDP 4 Prozent (5,0%), Grüne 7 Prozent (5,2%), Linke 37 Prozent (31,0%), AfD 24 Prozent (23,4%). 7 Prozent würden sich für eine der sonstigen Parteien entscheiden (5,5%).
Die meisten Thüringer wollen Bodo Ramelow wiederhaben
Die große Mehrheit der Thüringer (77%) bewertet es "weniger gut oder schlecht", dass Thomas Kemmerich sich mit den Stimmen von FDP, CDU und AfD zum Ministerpräsidenten wählen ließ. 20 Prozent fanden dieses Vorgehen "gut" oder "sehr gut". 56 Prozent der Thüringer sind der Auffassung, dass die Wahl Kemmerichs mit Hilfe der AfD Auswirkungen über das Bundesland hinaus hat: die Stabilität des politischen Systems in ganz Deutschland sei dadurch gefährdet.
72 Prozent der Thüringer sind überdies der Meinung, dass Kemmerich die Wahl nicht hätte annehmen dürfen. 70 Prozent begrüßen seinen Rücktritt, 26 Prozent halten den Rückzug für falsch. 71 Prozent der Thüringer haben kein Verständnis für das Verhalten der CDU im Landtag, 26 Prozent äußern sich verständnisvoll. 68 Prozent sind für Neuwahlen, 29 Prozent sind dagegen. Eine Mehrheit in Thüringen hätte gern den alten Ministerpräsidenten wieder. 65 Prozent bedauern, dass Bodo Ramelow nicht mehr Regierungschef ist. The events surrounding the Minister President election in Thuringia have greatly changed the political mood in the Free State. Following the surprising election of Thomas Kemmerich as Minister President, forsa has determined for the RTL/ntv trend barometer that the CDU would lose almost ten percentage points compared to the state elections in October 2019 if there were a re-election now.
The Christian Democrats would drop from 21.7 to 12 percent. The FDP would still come in at 4 percent and would not make it into the state parliament.
The Left Party could gain 6 percentage points, and all other parties would also do better than they did in the election four months ago: Greens plus 1.8 percent, the other smaller parties plus 1.5 percent, SPD plus 0.8 and AfD plus 0.6 percent. Red-Red-Green would together account for 53 percent, so that the outgoing Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow could rely on a majority capable of governing. Most Thuringians want Bodo Ramelow back
The vast majority of Thuringians (77%) rate it "less good or bad" that Thomas Kemmerich had himself elected Minister President with the votes of the FDP, CDU and AfD. Twenty percent found this procedure "good" or "very good". 56 percent of Thuringians believe that Kemmerich's election with the help of the AfD will have repercussions beyond the state: the stability of the political system throughout Germany is endangered. Moreover, 72 percent of Thuringia's citizens believe that Kemmerich should not have accepted the election. 70 percent welcome his resignation, 26 percent think the withdrawal is wrong. 71 percent of Thuringians have no understanding for the CDU's behavior in the state parliament, 26 percent express understanding. 68 percent are in favor of new elections, 29 percent are against. A majority in Thuringia would like the old Minister President back. 65 percent regret that Bodo Ramelow is no longer head of government.
