"Der Amoklauf von Hanau war das Werk eines geisteskranken Rassisten. Nichts, aber auch gar nichts in dessen Einlassungen steht auch nur ansatzweise in der Nähe irgendeiner AfD-Position", so Gauland in einer Stellungnahme.
Dennoch seien sich noch am Tag des Bekanntwerdens der Tat, von Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer bis Springer-Chef Döpfner viele sofort einig gewesen, nun müsse noch schärfer gegen die AfD vorgegangen werden. Und natürlich sei Döpfner nicht ohne impliziten Nazi-Vergleich ausgekommen.
"Als sich der NSU durch Deutschland mordete gab es noch gar keine AfD. Das hindert FAZ-Herausgeber Berthold Kohler jedoch nicht daran, selbst diese Taten in seinem Kommentar mit der AfD in Verbindung zu bringen", sagte Gauland weiter.
Man sieht die "Maske fallen"
Wenn ein AfD-Mitglied irgendwo in der Republik eine missverständliche Äußerung von sich gebe, sei das für das Gros der Kommentatoren sofort 'entlarvend' und man sieht 'die Masken fallen'. Noch die abwegigste und unlogischste Argumentationskette sei dabei recht und billig, wenn es gelte, die AfD vermeintlich als 'Faschisten' und 'Nazis' zu 'demaskieren', meint Gauland.
Der Ton wird immer martialischer
Alles was nicht irgendwie in diese Erzählung hineingepresst werden könne sei dann 'bürgerliche Fassade'. Selbstreflexion werde interpretiert als 'Kreide fressen'. Und der Ton von Spitzenpolitikern und Leitmedien werde dabei immer martialischer. "Ein solches Vorgehen macht den Diskurs unmöglich. Wer so schreibt und spricht, der will keine Debatte", sagt Gauland. Der wolle nicht über Inhalte und Positionen streiten. Die einzige parlamentarische Opposition gegen die "linke Regierungspolitik" solle vielmehr "um jeden Preis eliminiert werden", so Gauland weiter. Der Zweck heilige dabei die Mittel und die werden von Mal zu Mal drastischer.
Appell zur verbalen Abrüstung
"Mein Appell zur verbalen Abrüstung richtet sich sicher auch an uns selbst. Zuvörderst aber an jene, die den AfD-Mitgliedern attestieren, sie hätten 'ihr Menschsein verwirkt'", sagt Gauland. Gegen die nationalsozialistische Gewaltherrschaft in Deutschland sei Widerstand auch mit Gewalt moralisch unzweifelhaft geboten. Wer die AfD verbal in die Nähe dieses Regimes stellt, uns dieser Partei damit gleichsetze, der offenbare nicht nur völlige Geschichtsvergessenheit, der rechtfertigt - fahrlässig oder vorsätzlich - physische Gewalt gegen die AfD. "Ich fordere daher nochmals alle Beteiligten eindringlich dazu auf, diese gefährliche Eskalation endlich zu beenden", sagt Gauland. pm, ots

If an AfD member somewhere in the republic makes a misleading statement, the majority of commentators immediately 'unmask' it and 'the masks fall'. Even the most absurd and illogical chain of arguments is right and proper when it comes to 'unmasking' the AfD as 'fascists' and 'Nazis', says Gauland.
The tone becomes more and more martial
Everything that cannot be somehow pressed into this narrative is then a 'bourgeois façade'. Self-reflection is interpreted as 'eating chalk'. And the tone of top politicians and the leading media is becoming increasingly martial. "Such an approach makes discourse impossible. Anyone who writes and talks like this does not want a debate", says Gauland. They don't want to argue about content and positions. The only parliamentary opposition to "left-wing government policy" should rather be "eliminated at all costs", Gauland continued. The end justifies the means, and they become more and more drastic each time.
Appeal for verbal disarmament
"My appeal for verbal disarmament is certainly directed at ourselves. But first and foremost to those who certify that AfD members have 'forfeited their humanity'", says Gauland. There is no doubt that resistance to the National Socialist tyranny in Germany by force is morally imperative. Anyone who verbally places the AfD in the vicinity of this regime, who equates us with this party, is not only revealing a complete oblivion of history, but is also justifying - negligently or intentionally - physical violence against the AfD.
