Er fügte hinzu: "Wenn dann aber alle Szenarien der negativen Art eintreten sollten, kann ich sagen: Borussia bleibt handlungsfähig. Nicht nur, weil wir eine Mannschaft haben, die außergewöhnlich ist, nicht nur von den Charakteren, sondern auch von der sportlichen Werthaltigkeit her."
Deutliche Einschnitte für den Fußball erwartet
Eberl geht wie Geschäftsführer Stephan Schippers davon aus, dass die Corona-Krise deutliche Einschnitte für den Fußball bringen wird, und hofft, dass sich der eher konservative wirtschaftliche Ansatz der Borussen jetzt auszahlt: "Es wird so sein, dass sich nach der Corona-Geschichte einiges relativieren wird. Vereine, und das ist meine Hoffnung, die bis jetzt solide gearbeitet haben, können da ein Stück weit gut durch die Krise kommen", sagte Eberl. pm, ots
