Dann hätte womöglich eine Situation vermieden werden können, in der sich jedes Land "in sein nationales Schneckenhaus zurückzieht". Jetzt gehe es darum, nach vorne zu schauen, die Kooperation und das gegenseitige Vertrauen wieder zu stärken. "Die Bundesregierung darf den Blick jetzt nicht nur nach innen richten, sondern muss auch gemeinsame europäische Lösungsansätze wieder stärker ins Auge fassen." Green party leader Katrin Göring-Eckardt has accused Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the other governments in Europe of a lack of agreement in the Corona crisis and lack of support from Italy.
