"Es ist schon unverständlich, dass die Berufsgruppe der Lehrer für sich ein solches Schutzprivileg in Anspruch nimmt", sagte Fischbach. Andere Berufsgruppen würden "tatsächlich kranke Patienten versorgen" und wiesen wie die Kinderärzte ein wesentlich höheres Durchschnittsalter als Lehrer auf. Ungeachtet dessen würden sie "an der Gesundheitsfront nach wie vor ihren Mann stehen", sagte Fischbach.
Ein Drittel der Lehrer nimmt keinen Unterricht wahr
Je nach Bundesland nimmt nach Angaben der Kultusministerien bis zu ein Drittel der Lehrer gegenwärtig keinen Unterricht in der Schule wahr, weil sie aufgrund ihres Alters oder anderer persönlicher Umstände besondere Angst vor einer Corona-Infektion haben. Sie verrichten stattdessen Arbeiten für die Schule von zu Hause aus, soweit dies angefordert wird und möglich ist.
