Er teilte der "NOZ" mit: "Es wird höchste Zeit, dass die Streamingdienste rechtsextreme Musik aus ihrem Angebot nehmen." Das gelte auch dann, wenn die Musik nicht offiziell von der Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien indiziert worden sei.
Spotify nimmt das Thema sehr ernst
Marktführer Spotify ließ auf Anfrage der "NOZ" versichern, man nehme das Thema sehr ernst. "Spotify toleriert absolut keine indizierten Inhalte oder solche, die geeignet sind, in irgendeiner Weise Feindseligkeit zu erzeugen - sei es aus rassistischen, religiösen oder anderen Gründen." Entsprechende Inhalte würden aus der Bibliothek entfernt. Laut "NOZ" stehen die vom Verfassungsschutz als rechtsextremistisch eingestuften Bands allerdings nicht auf dem Index. Groups like "Übermensch" and "Blutlinie" were "clearly right-wing extremist music groups". The fact that their music can so easily be obtained via streaming services is "fundamentally critical", the Office for the Protection of the Constitution said. It would be "desirable" if corresponding offers were deleted. Konstantin Kuhle, the FDP's domestic policy spokesman in the Bundestag, was more explicit.
