Mit dem Digitale Familienleistungen-Gesetz wolle man erreichen, dass in Zukunft Familien leichter durch den Antragsberg kämen und Anträge gebündelt, vereinfacht und bequem vom eigenen Computer oder Smartphone aus erledigen könnten. "Für frischgebackene Eltern heißt das, dass sie die wichtigen Dokumente und Leistungen zur Geburt für sich und ihre Kinder in einem digitalen Antrag beantragen können", sagte Giffey.
Alle gewinnen mehr Zeit
Dadurch werde die förmliche Namensfestlegung, die Geburtsanzeige sowie die Beantragung von Kindergeld und Elterngeld zusammengeführt und online deutlich leichter. Eltern müssten nicht mehr etliche Nachweise an verschiedene Stellen bringen. Um das zu ermöglichen, sollen die Behörden viele der notwendigen Daten und Informationen künftig untereinander austauschen dürfen - wenn die Eltern zustimmen.
