"Die Berufsaufsichtsverfahren im Zusammenhang mit den Jahres- und Konzernabschlussprüfungen bei der Wirecard AG sind aber noch nicht abgeschlossen", schreibt Ulrich Nußbaum, Staatssekretär im Bundeswirtschaftsministerium in der Antwort.
Die Einleitung eines solches Verfahrens allein stelle "noch keinen Anlass für die Prüfung des Vorliegens eines Ausschlussgrundes durch die Bundesregierung vor der Vergabe öffentlicher Aufträge dar". EY hat seit Jahren die Konzernbilanzen des insolventen Dax-Unternehmen geprüft und bis zu diesem Jahr keine Unregelmäßigkeiten festgestellt. Die Apas prüft die Arbeit von EY deshalb seit Oktober 2019.
