Anleger vertrauten offensichtlich diesen falschen Zahlen und wurden dadurch zu falschen Investitionsent-scheidungen getrieben. Der Aktienkurs der Wirecard-Aktie hatte nach Bekannt werden dieses Betrugs innerhalb von Tagen über 99 % des Wertes verloren. Wirecard musste mittlerweile Insolvenz anmelden. "Mein Aufruf ist: Nehmen wir den Wirtschaftsprüfern in der Zukunft die Möglichkeit, sich so aus der Affäre zu ziehen. Auch Wirtschaftsprüfer müssen wie abertausende Unternehmer und ich selbst für Ihre Arbeit haften."

Eroglu griff damit seine Anfrage an die Kommission auf.
