Demonstranten tragen große Fotos mit Frau Merkel und Herrn Drosten in KZ-Kleidung, skandieren, dass man die Kanzlerin an die Laterne knüpfen müsse. Das sind Vorgänge, die gehen in Richtung Terrorismus. Das ist eine Gefährdung der inneren Sicherheit in unserem Land."
Es gehe auch nicht darum, ob sich jemand nicht impfen lassen wolle, fügte Ramelow hinzu: "Es gibt keine Impfpflicht. Impfgegner werden zusammengebracht mit Coronaleugnern, und es wird behauptet, Bill Gates wolle uns jetzt zwangsimpfen. Ich beobachte in diesen ganzen Vernetzungen und Verschwörungsmythen pogromartige Stimmungen." Die Mischung aus Rechtsradikalen, sogenannten Querdenkern und Impfgegnern sei "sehr gefährlich", die Protestierer würden "einfach gnadenlos" vorgehen. Ramelow äußerte sich auch extrem besorgt über Attacken gegen Journalisten: "Für mich ist so etwas vergleichbar mit dem, was Walter Lübcke, dem Regierungspräsidenten in Kassel, passiert ist. Der hat in der Flüchtlingskrise eine klare Position bezogen und hat das mit seinem Leben bezahlen müssen.
