"Ich möchte den Menschen den Rücken stärken, die mobil arbeiten wollen und die auch mobil arbeiten könnten", sagte Heil. "Leider ist die Union noch nicht soweit, einen Rechtsanspruch auf mobiles Arbeiten zu schaffen, wo das möglich ist", erklärte er. "Deswegen bleibe ich bei meinen Vorschlägen für einen modernen Rechtsrahmen. Ich will dann zumindest ein Recht der Beschäftigten, über Möglichkeiten des mobilen Arbeitens mit dem Vorgesetzten zu sprechen", sagte der SPD-Politiker.
Rechtsanspruch auf Heimarbeit
Heil hatte seine Pläne für einen Rechtsanspruch auf Heimarbeit an mindestens 24 Tagen im Jahr fallengelassen, weil die Union ihn nicht mittragen will. Die Union möchte diese lockern und den Acht-Stunden-Tag für Heimarbeiter abschaffen, Heil hält mit der Arbeitszeiterfassung dagegen.
