In less than two years, the 2022 World Cup will kick off. Before it can begin, the 31 participants who, along with the host country Qatar, will compete in the final round for the biggest title in world soccer must first be determined. The free TV station will broadcast the UEFA preliminary round draw for Qatar 2022 live on Monday from 6 pm.

During the event in Zurich, the ten qualifying groups will be drawn in which the 55 member countries of Uefa will compete for a ticket to Qatar from March to November 2021. The German national team is one of the ten teams in pot one, which also includes defending champions France, European champions Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Italy, England, Croatia, Denmark and the Netherlands. Rafael van der Vaart and World Champion Daniele de Rossi will assist Jaime Yarza, Fifa's Executive Director of Competition, in the draw.
