Wohnimmobilien werden trotzt Corona-Krise im teurer

Wie das Statistische Bundesamt (Destatis) weiter mitteilt, stiegen die Preise für Wohnungen sowie für Ein- und Zweifamilienhäuser gegenüber dem Vorquartal um 2,9 %.

 

Damit verteuerten sich Wohnimmobilien trotz der andauernden Corona-Krise sowohl in der Stadt als auch auf dem Land weiterhin deutlich.  Im 3. Quartal 2020 waren in den sieben größten Metropolen (Berlin, Hamburg, München, Köln, Frankfurt, Stuttgart und Düsseldorf) Ein- und Zweifamilienhäuser 8,9 % und Eigentumswohnungen 7,3 % teurer als im Vorjahresquartal. In den anderen Großstädten ab 100 000 Einwohnerinnen und Einwohnern stiegen die Häuserpreise gegenüber dem Vorjahresquartal um 8,3 % und die Preise für Eigentumswohnungen um 10,2 %.

 

Auch in ländlichen Kreisen werden Immobilien teurer

 

Auch in ländlichen Kreisen verteuerten sich Wohnimmobilien im Durchschnitt stark. So erhöhten sich die Preise für Häuser in dichter besiedelten ländlichen Kreisen um 9,7 % und für Eigentumswohnungen um 7,1 %. Residential property prices (house price index) in Germany were 7.8 per cent higher on average in Q3 2020 than in the same quarter of the previous year. As the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) further reports, prices for flats as well as for detached and semi-detached houses rose by 2.9 % compared to the previous quarter.

 

Thus, despite the ongoing Corona crisis, residential property prices continued to rise significantly both in the city and in the countryside.  In the third quarter of 2020, detached and semi-detached houses were 8.9% more expensive and condominiums 7.3% more expensive in the seven largest metropolitan areas (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf) than in the same quarter of the previous year. In the other large cities with 100,000 or more inhabitants, house prices rose by 8.3 % and condominium prices by 10.2 % compared to the same quarter last year.

 

Property is also becoming more expensive in rural districts

 

In rural districts, too, residential property became more expensive on average. Prices for houses in more densely populated rural districts rose by 9.7% and for condominiums by 7.1%.
