Er kritisiert die Corona-Maßnahmen der Bundesregierung: "Die Salami-Strategie führt zur Verwirrung. Man kann sich mit einem guten Stufenplan, der eine Positiv-Agenda setzt und sich elastisch an die äußeren Bedingungen anpasst, viel besser durch diese saisonale Erkrankung auf das Ende zubewegen, als dass man von Lockdown zu Lockdown stolpert."
Mit mehr Ellbogen, mehr Impfstoff kaufen
Stöhr, der nach seinem Ausscheiden bei der WHO in der Impfstoffentwicklung beim Pharmakonzern Novartis arbeitete, bewertet auch den Vorwurf, die EU habe deutlich zu wenig Impfstoffe eingekauft: "Man hätte sicherlich mit mehr Ellenbogen noch mehr kaufen können, aber wir klagen auf einem sehr hohen Niveau." The epidemiologist and virologist Klaus Stöhr, who worked for 15 years in leading positions at the World Health Organisation WHO, assumes that the coronavirus will remain with us "for decades or even centuries". There is no reason to give the all-clear in the medium term either.
"I don't see any alternative for the AHA rules until the end of the year. Even in the summer, 50 to 60 percent of the population will still be fully susceptible. He criticises the federal government's Corona measures: "The salami strategy leads to confusion.
