"Nachdem nunmehr die Distribution der Impfstoffe auch in die Facharztpraxen weitestgehend reibungslos läuft, nehmen auch die niedergelassenen Fachärztinnen und Fachärzte an der Impfung der Bevölkerung teil und leisten so im Rahmen der Bekämpfung der Pandemie ihren Beitrag auf dem Weg zur wohnortnah erfolgenden Impfung möglichst großer Teile der Bevölkerung", so Dr. Axel Schroeder, Vorstandsmitglied des SpiFa. "Die sehr einseitige Kommunikation in den Medien mit der Aussage, dass Hausärzte nun impfen würden, irritiere die Patienten", so Lars Lindemann, Hauptgeschäftsführer des SpiFa.
Impfkampagne nimmt richtig Fahrt auf
Mit der Unterstützung durch 40.000 Facharztpraxen nehme die Impfkampagne gemeinsam mit den Hausärzten in Deutschland nun richtig Fahrt auf. Durch die sichtbar steigenden Impfstoffmengen würde die in den letzten Wochen noch zu bewältigende Mangelsituation bald vorbei sein und die bisher notwendige Priorisierung könne zeitnah eingestellt werden", so Lindemann weiter.
Appell an die Bürger, sich impfen zu lassen
Die SpiFa richtet erneut einen Appell an alle Bürgerinnen und Bürger in Deutschland, sich impfen zu lassen und bekräftigt nochmals, dass mit der Entscheidung über die Zulassung durch die EMA, hochwirksame Impfstoffe zur Verfügung stehen. Dies gelte auch für das Vakzin von Astra-Zeneca. pm, ots
