Es dürfe auch nicht länger von "Privilegien für immunisierte Personen" gesprochen werden, sagte der Landkreistagspräsident. "Die grundrechtlichen Freiheiten werden nicht verliehen, sondern bestehen und dürfen im Gegenteil nur so lange eingeschränkt werden, wie es im Rahmen der Notlage erforderlich ist." Auch für das Gerechtigkeitsempfinden der Bevölkerung sei es wichtig, dies klar zu benennen und allen Menschen schnell Zugang zur Impfung zu verschaffen.
Aufhebung der Impfpriosierung
Um das Impftempo zu erhöhen, wünschen sich die Landkreise eine Aufhebung der Impfpriorisierung für alle Impfstoffe. Dass einige Bundesländer Astrazeneca schon für alle freigegeben hätten, sei "bereits ein richtiger Schritt. Dem sollten sich andere Länder anschließen", betonte Sager. In Verbindung mit den Impfungen in den Arztpraxen könne man mit dieser Maßnahme erneut einen großen Schritt vorankommen.
