Der Präsident des Deutschen Kinderschutzbundes (DKSB), Heinz Hilgers, hat die Entscheidung des Bundeskabinetts für ein Corona-Aufholprogramm für Kinder und Jugendliche im Umfang von zwei Milliarden Euro begrüßt.
Zugleich forderte er Länder und Kommunen auf, ebenfalls Finanzmittel bereitzustellen. "Es wurde höchste Zeit, dass die Bundesregierung mehr Geld in die Hand nimmt. Ich begrüße das, denn es ist dringend notwendig", sagte Hilgers dem in Berlin erscheinenden Tagesspiegel.
