Amazon Prime Video wird die erste Dokumentation über den Ausnahmefußballer produzieren. Prime-Mitglieder "können noch nie dagewesene Einblicke" in die Karriere und das Privatleben von Robert Lewandowski freuen und erfahren, wie ein junger Mann aus der polnischen Stadt Leszno zu einem der besten Fußballer seiner Zeit wurde; trotz eines steinigen Starts seiner Karriere in der vierten polnischen Liga und allerlei Rückschlägen. Der neue Doku-Film wird ab 2022 weltweit exklusiv bei Prime Video zu sehen sein.

"Die Idee hinter dieser Dokumentation ist ziemlich einzigartig und das ist einer der Gründe, warum wir uns entschieden haben, sie zu machen", sagt Robert Lewandowski. "Wir möchten eine Geschichte von Höhen und Tiefen, Stärken und Schwächen ungefiltert erzählen - um die Geschehnisse so zu präsentieren, wie sie wirklich passiert sind."
Dokumentation mit vielen Facetten
Der Stürmerstar möchte nicht nur Einblicke in sein Leben geben, sondern auch Zuschauern in aller Welt die Möglichkeit bieten, sich in seiner Geschichte wiederzufinden.
"Die Dokumentation soll viele Facetten meiner Karriere zeigen, die für Fußballfans interessant sind", fügt Lewandowski hinzu. "Ich hoffe aber, dass auch die Zuschauer:innen, die nicht regelmäßig Fußball schauen, die vielen kleinen Details zu schätzen wissen. Ich möchte, dass die Dokumentation eine Inspiration für die Kinder wird, die davon träumen, etwas Großes zu erreichen, aber nicht daran glauben, dass sie es schaffen können."
Familie und Freunde kommen zu Wort
Neben Robert Lewandowski kommen auch seine Familie und seine engen Freunde zu Wort, darunter Weltklasse-Fußballer, Trainer und auch andere Sportler. Der noch unbetitelte Doku-Film wird von Papaya Films für Amazon Prime Video produziert, koordiniert von Monika Bondarowicz und Tomasz Zawislak von Robert Lewandowskis Seite. Amazon Prime Video will produce the first documentary about the exceptional footballer. Prime members "can look forward to unprecedented insights" into the career and private life of Robert Lewandowski and learn how a young man from the Polish town of Leszno became one of the best footballers of his time; despite a rocky start to his career in the fourth Polish league and all kinds of setbacks. The new docu-film will be available exclusively on Prime Video worldwide from 2022.

"The idea behind this documentary is quite unique and that's one of the reasons we decided to make it," says Robert Lewandowski. "We want to tell a story of ups and downs, strengths and weaknesses unfiltered - to present the events as they really happened."
Documentary with many facets
The star striker not only wants to provide insights into his life, but also offer viewers around the world the opportunity to find themselves in his story.
"The documentary should show many facets of my career that are interesting for football fans," Lewandowski adds. "But I hope that viewers:inside who don't watch football regularly will also appreciate the many small details. I want the documentary to be an inspiration for the kids who dream of achieving great things but don't believe they can."
Family and friends have their say
In addition to Robert Lewandowski, his family and close friends will also have their say, including world-class footballers, coaches and also other athletes. The as yet untitled docu-film is produced by Papaya Films for Amazon Prime Video, coordinated by Monika Bondarowicz and Tomasz Zawislak from Robert Lewandowski's side.
