Die Jusos haben sich hinter die Strategie von SPD-Kanzlerkandidat Olaf Scholz gestellt, ohne rote Linien in Sondierungen mit Grünen und FDP zu gehen.
"Wir tragen die Linie von Olaf Scholz voll mit, dass in den ersten Tagen erst mal vertrauliche Gespräche geführt werden, um eine Beziehung aufzubauen zu den Verhandelnden", sagte Juso-Chefin Jessica Rosenthal im Gespräch mit der "Neuen Osnabrücker Zeitung" (NOZ). "Vorfühlen statt konkrete inhaltliche Bedingungen stellen, das ist jetzt erst mal der richtige Weg." Auch an die Ermahnung des Kanzlerkandidaten, mit Forderungen und Kritik vorerst nicht an die Medien zu gehen, will sich der SPD-Nachwuchs halten.
Differenzen intern regeln
"Dass wir anders als früher unsere Differenzen jetzt intern regeln, finde ich grundsätzlich richtig. Das ist ein nachvollziehbarer Anspruch, den Olaf Scholz formuliert", sagte Rosenthal. Es werde allerdings die Zeit kommen, inhaltliche Dinge so zu diskutieren, dass sie die Öffentlichkeit erreichten. "Wir Jusos werden uns bestimmt nicht den Oktober über ins Bett legen und nach Abschluss der Verhandlungen wieder aufstehen und allen zum Koalitionsvertrag gratulieren", so die Juso-Chefin. "Es gibt inhaltliche Ansprüche, die wir zur rechten Zeit anbringen werden."
Raus aus der neoliberalen Pampa
Auf die Frage, ob sich die Jusos wirklich eine Koalition mit der FDP wünschten, sagte Rosenthal: "Um Gefühle geht es nicht, sondern um konkrete Punkte. Da gilt für uns nach wie vor: Raus aus der neoliberalen Pampa!" Mit der Losung hatten Saskia Esken und Norbert Walter-Borjans vor zwei Jahren das Rennen um den Parteivorsitz gegen Olaf Scholz gewonnen. "Ich hoffe, die FDP stellt vor allem den Freiheitsbegriff nach vorn und nicht ihre neoliberale Seite, sonst wird es schwierig", sagte Rosenthal. pm, ots

However, he said, the time would come to discuss substantive issues in a way that would reach the public. "We Jusos will certainly not lie down in bed for the rest of October and get up again after the negotiations are over and congratulate everyone on the coalition agreement," said the Juso leader. Asked whether the Jusos really wanted a coalition with the FDP, Rosenthal said, "It's not about feelings, but about concrete points. For us, that is still the case: Get out of the neoliberal pampas!" It was with this slogan that Saskia Esken and Norbert Walter-Borjans won the race for party chair against Olaf Scholz two years ago.
