Mercedes hat jedoch bereits verkündet, jenen neuen Motor einzusetzen, der Hamilton in Brasilien zum Sieg verhalf. Beim Großen Preis von Sao Paolo raste Hamilton so von Rang zehn auf Platz eins. Nachdem das neue Glanzstück in Katar eine Pause bekam, wird der Antrieb für die letzten beiden Rennen wieder in den Mercedes eingepflanzt. Ob der Silberpfeil erneut so den entscheidenden Vorteil für sich erlangt und weiter Boden gut macht? Oder kürt sich Verstappen an diesem Wochenende zum Formel 1 Weltmeister?

Da die Rennstrecke jetzt erst fertiggestellt wird, kennen die Fahrer den schnellsten Stadtkurs der Welt bisher nur vom Simulator. The penultimate race of this Formula 1 season is upon us, the outcome of which remains completely open after Lewis Hamilton's commanding victory in Qatar. With eight points, Red Bull driver and world championship leader Max Verstappen is still ahead of the Briton.
Mercedes, however, has already announced that it will use the new engine that helped Hamilton win in Brazil. At the Sao Paolo Grand Prix, Hamilton raced from tenth to first place. After the new shiny piece was given a break in Qatar, the power unit will be implanted in the Mercedes again for the last two races. Will the Silver Arrow once again gain the decisive advantage and continue to make up ground? Or will Verstappen be crowned Formula 1 World Champion this weekend?

As the circuit is only just being completed, the drivers have only ever seen the world's fastest street circuit in the simulator.
